ABOUT
Hill

Hill Barrow has been an integral part of the Barrow Camp tradition since its founding in 2021. After working closely with his sister, Claire, who started the camp, Hill took the lead following her retirement in 2024 to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He successfully ran his first solo camp that same year and is proud to carry on the tradition of creating memorable, meaningful summers.

Hill is 16 years old and a rising sophomore at Berkeley Preparatory School, where he has earned a place on the Headmaster’s List for academic excellence. He is also a student mentor with the Berkeley Academy, a free, selective program supporting high-achieving students from low-income households in Tampa Bay. Through the Academy, Hill teaches a class on music production and beat-making, helping younger students develop creative skills while preparing for college success over a six-year journey.

Outside of school, Hill serves as a Middle School Youth Leader at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, mentoring 6th to 8th graders each week. When he’s not teaching or leading, Hill is an avid tennis player, long-distance runner, fisherman, and traveler. His passion for hiking and music production brings extra creativity and energy to his work at camp.

Hill is excited to welcome campers back this summer for another season filled with fun, growth, and lasting memories.
